Kindergarten and 1st grade are working with www.abcya.com They are working on dropping, dragging, and enlarging.
2nd grade: Students are dropping, dragging, and enlarging. They are typing their names and printing with www.abcya.com
3rd grade: Students wrote plays and are painting a scene from their plays to be displayed in the school.
4th grade: Students are learning about the Dewey Decimal System and the Electric Card Catalog.
5th grade: Students just went to Pioneer Village. They create a Powerpoint, play, or poster to demonstrate what they learned.
Students are learning skills related to technology, media literary and theater. All students are working on coding and learning how to use Ozobots.

Kindergartners, 1st graders, and 2nd graders are working on using iPads. Specific apps are as follows: Seesaw, Doodle Buddy, Pic Collage and Story Creator.
3rd graders are working on their first major research report on animals. They have researched in books and online. From there, they will put together posters and presentations.
4th graders are working on the Play "Dr. Seuss's Sleep Book" by Dr. Seuss. They will be acting it out in front of 1st graders and kindergartners.
5th graders are starting their month by beginning their poetry for a National Competition.
Kindergarten: They are working on theatre skills.
1st grade: They are working on their big books.
2nd grade: They are creating ebooks with their poems.
3rd, 4th and 5th graders are exploring iPads and finishing their poetry.
All students are using print resources. From dictionaries, encyclopedias, and nonfiction texts, students are seeing the differences between print and digital sources.
February: Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade students are working on theatre standards. Some students will be focusing on reading a series, performing with high schoolers or making their own shadow puppets.
Students are working on various print projects including creating their own class newspapers, magazines and dictionaries.
5th grade will be analyzing websites.
All students will be learning about maps and atlases. As students get older, they will study more in detail. They use Google Earth, PicCollage and Safari to learn more about Geography and display what they learned.
Students will review what they have learned throughout the year. Students that return their books the last week in April will get a bonus free time outside.
