Prowler Pride Runs Deep

Welcome to Activities & Athletics

  •

    Dear Prowler Families,

The fall seasons have started for CC, Girls Swim, and Girls Tennis.  This will be a very different year with the COVID pandemic.  Fans will be allowed at tennis, Fans will be allowed at CC but not at the start or finish line, Fans will NOT be allowed at swim meets. We are trying to accommodate the parents with live streaming for the swim meets. This will take some effort to upgrade the internet in the pool area.  Our hope is to offer this for you.

As we know the MSHSL has postponed 9-12 football and volleyball until spring.  However, we will be having a 3-week practice season for them from 9/24 - 10/3. Please register https://1937a.cf.wordwareinc.com/ and contact the head coaches for more information.

We will be offering FMS volleyball and FMS football this fall for a full 6 week season with only in-house games (no travel).  Registration is open at https://1937a.cf.wordwareinc.com/

If there is anything we can do to assist you and your family, please do not hesitate to let us know. #ProwlerPride

    Sincerely,

    Mike Biermaier

Lincoln High School has always been the home of exceptional student athletes and outstanding artists and academics. The earliest trophies showcased in cases near the Lincoln High School Gymnasium are from the 1937-38 Basketball team. However, trophies commemorating the accomplishments of teams in all areas of athletics, arts and academics and from all years were found in a recent survey of the trophy cases.

Student participation in extracurricular activities is vital to the development of well-rounded graduates. Research indicates that students who participate in daily physical activity exhibit improved memory, concentration, communication skills, problem-solving ability, and leadership capabilities. As a school, we support student participation because the benefits have been shown to be decreased absenteeism, increased self-esteem, and improved health and lifestyle choices. Our community supports athletic and activity programs because there is an increased tendency to participate in their community after graduation.

We encourage every student to find a team, club or organization to use their particular talents for their own benefit as well as the school and communities.
