Hello, I'm Lisa Hinrichs and I am the ECFE Program Coordinator and Teacher. I am also the mom of three active children, Nathan and Jenna are Freshmen and Lydia is a 5th grader and I'm married to Rod. I am from Thief River Falls and enjoy the outdoor activites Minnesota allows. Online learning allowed me to earn my M.Ed. in Family Education from the University of MN. I am a licensed Parenting Educator and Early Childhood Teacher. I have been teaching ECFE since 2009, but I started as a parent when my twins were six months old. Now I facilitate the parent discussion groups, lead storytimes and teach all ages of children, birth through five years old and their parents, as we learn through our journey of parenting.
ECFE is a program for parents and children (ages birth -5 years old) to come to school together and learn through a variety of activities that are fun and educational. Parents are also provided with information and support to help you be the best FIRST teacher of your child.
