I was born and raised in Northern Minnesota. I graduated from high school in Warren, MN, and earned my Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of North Dakota. I went on to receive my Masters and sixth-year certificate from Minnesota State University-Mankato in 1999. I was an elementary teacher for 12 years before moving over to Lincoln High School in 2000, where I was the Associate Principal for 17 years. I also coached basketball, football and golf for many years in our district.
I am married to my wonderful wife, Joyce, and we have two daughters, Brooke and Madison, who both graduated from Lincoln High School. I am honored to call Thief River Falls my home. If there is anything I can do, please don't hesitate to contact me.
