September 26-27, 2016 Meetings

  • On September 26, 2016, members of the Thief River Falls School Board, Administration, and Union Leaders met at the District Service Center for an orientation to the Education Leadership System.  Key objectives for the meeting were as follows:

     

    1. Deepen Board of Education and the Office of the Superintendent knowledge and experience with the Education Leadership System (ELS) for excellence in governance, management, and consultation through alignment of the adults for the Mission Delivery Relationship between student, educator, and family. 
    2. Understanding of the planning process and the roles of the Board over the development of the district’s strategic plan.

     

    On September 27, 2016, administration, union representatives, and building reps met at the District Service Center to continue the work with the Education Leadership System. Key objectives for the meeting were as follows:

     

    1. Deepen knowledge and experience with the Education Leadership System (ELS) for excellence in governance, management, and consultation through alignment of the adults for the Mission Delivery Relationship between student, educator, and family 
    2. Understanding of the planning process and the roles of Management over the development of the district’s strategic plan. 
    3. Clarify the district’s level of readiness for change through stakeholder analysis and TeamWorks’ Transition and Development FrameWork™
